Axial design with longitudinal seam (cylinder, FITO)

Applied for filtration from the inside to the outside.

In this type of design, the gap openings are parallel to the length of the cylinder.

The inner diameter or work surface is smooth.

The support bars are located radially on the outside of the filter. The ends of the support bars are welded together in order to get a longitudinal seam.

This cylinder version is usually used in conjunction with an Archimedes screw or scraper inside which cleans the cylinder.
The cylinders with longitudinal seam are usually made for filter systems with larger diameters (larger than 130 mm).
