Axial design without longitudinal seam (cylinder, FITO)

This design works the same as a cylinder with longitudinal seam.
The inner diameter or work surface is smooth.

These cylinders are made directly on the machine by welding a spiral on the longitudinal profiles at a certain distance from each other.

This design is usually used for smaller diameters up to maximum 130 mm.

For cylinder that are made directly on the machine, the tolerances on the inner diameter are much more accurate than the tolerances on cylinders with longitudinal seams. We are speaking about a few tenths of a millimetre here.

At the ends of the cylinder, we provide some threads with a slight gap so that end pieces can be attached better.
